My name is Oybek Ostanov, born on December 26, 1982, in Tashkent and raised in Samarkand. My educational and professional journey is shaped by a deep passion for languages, literature, culture, and entrepreneurship. Growing up in a literary environment, influenced by my father, Nurullo Ostonov, a renowned Uzbek writer, I developed a love for the written word early on.
I am married with three children and have pursued a diverse career, from studying Business Administration and Informatics to working as a tour guide and literary translator. My mission is to bridge Uzbek and European cultures through literature and travel, with my companies DOCA Tours and CGDOCA reflecting my commitment to innovation and cultural exchange.
Born on December 26, 1982, in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, I grew up in Samarkand in a family where literature played a central role, thanks to my father, Nurullo Ostonov, a renowned writer.
Graduated high school and began studying Business Administration at Samarkand University. Worked as a layout designer and typesetter, producing five newspapers weekly and writing articles.
From 2001 to 2005, during my studies, I worked as a layout designer and typesetter in various editorial offices, laying out five newspapers weekly and writing numerous articles, which deepened my passion for literature and language.
Moved to Germany as an au pair, fell in love with the German language, and read 44 books in six months. Studied Computer Science at the University of Lübeck.
In 2006, I studied Informatics at the University of Lübeck, further expanding my technical skills and deepening my connection to German culture.
Lived in London for nearly two years, studying Business Administration and Management at London Westminster College.
In late 2008, I returned to Samarkand and trained at the Uzbektourism National Research and Training Center to deepen my knowledge of tourism.
Returned to Samarkand, trained in tourism, and began working as a tour guide, leading international guests through Central Asia.
Began translating literature, including Heinz Erhardt into Uzbek and Uzbek literature into German, and worked with the Goethe-Institut Tashkent.
From 2014, I presented my literary works in numerous German cities, organizing three major reading tours before the pandemic, fostering cultural exchange through literature.
Founded DOCA TOURS, a leading agency for tailored Central Asian travel, and presented literary works in German cities.
Faced challenges from the pandemic, explored 3D modeling, and founded CGDOCA, offering 3D design and visual effects.
